Policies

Books are circulated for a one week period with up to two renewals. Students in kindergarten and first grade may check out one book each week, and second graders may check out two. Students working on special class projects may get permission to check out additional materials.  If a student forgets to to return a book for two consecutive weeks a reminder note will be sent home and "honor" books maybe checked out until the book is returned or replaced.

 

Students at Bakerville School visit the library every Friday with their class for instruction and book exchange.

Students at NHES visit the library every Monday with their class for instruction and book exchange. 

 

If a book is damaged, please do not try to repair the damage at home. The library has special supplies made specifically to repair damaged books. If the book is damaged beyond repair, the student will be expected to pay for the replacement of the book.

If a student loses a book, they will be expected to pay for the cost of the book.
